We’re excited to announce the launch of the Calgary Windows Server and Azure Hybrid User Group, a new community for IT professionals, sysadmins, and cloud enthusiasts who live and breathe all things Windows Server and Microsoft Azure Hybrid technologies.
Our first meetup will be hosted at the Langdon Firehouse on April 30, 2024, and we’d love for you to attend!

This inaugural meetup will focus on the future of Windows Server with a strong emphasis on deploying and migrating to Windows Server 2025. Whether you’re planning your upgrade path or looking to harden your infrastructure, we’ve got you covered.

We’ve brought together an all-star lineup of Microsoft MVPs and industry experts:
- Cristal Kawula – “Migrating and Upgrading to Server 2025”Cristal will introduce her brand-new training course, designed to walk IT pros through a hands-on migration and upgrade journey to Server 2025.
- Emile Cabot – “Windows Server Hardening and Baselines”Emile will dive into practical guidance and security baselines for locking down your Windows Server environment in 2025 and beyond.
- Dave Kawula – “Troubleshooting Windows Server 2025 Upgrade Failures”Learn from Dave’s experience with real-world upgrade scenarios, tips, tricks, and common pitfalls to avoid when moving to Server 2025.
Each presentation will run for 30 minutes, keeping things sharp and packed with value.
