2nd Meetup – July 31, 2024, @ Langdon Firehouse
We’re back! After the fantastic turnout and energy at our inaugural session in April, we’re thrilled to announce the second meetup of the Calgary Windows Server and Azure Hybrid User Group, which will be held once again on July 31, 2024, at the Langdon Firehouse.
This community has already begun to grow into something special, and we can’t wait to continue building on that momentum. Whether you are focused on modernizing your infrastructure or troubleshooting stubborn deployments, this meetup is packed with insights you won’t want to miss.
🔍 This Session’s Focus:
- Troubleshooting Windows Server 2025 Deployments
- Migrating Workloads to Azure with Azure Migrate
🎤 Speaker Line-up
We’re excited to welcome back two community leaders and Microsoft MVPs:
- Dave Kawula – “Diagnostic Logging for Failed Windows Server 2025 Deployments”
Dave will explore deep troubleshooting techniques using diagnostic logs to identify root causes in failed or unstable Windows Server 2025 upgrade scenarios. From SetupDiag to CBS logs and beyond, this session will arm you with practical skills you can use right away. - Cristal Kawula – “Migrating Windows Server Workloads to the Cloud with Azure Migrate”
Cristal will guide attendees through planning, assessing, and executing Windows Server workload migrations using Azure Migrate. Whether exploring a hybrid future or entirely moving to the cloud, this session is your roadmap.
Each presentation is 30 minutes long and packed with real-world experience and guidance.
