I have been working with HyperConverged Infrastructure for the better part of 2.5 years now.

As such I had my chance to do my very first Nutanix Hyper-V Deployment over the summer.

The platform teams, support engineers, and everyone at Nutanix have been super helpful in learning Prism and the Platform.

I am likely one of the only ones that specializes on the Hyper-V Platform for Nutanix which is fine… having been a Hyper-V Evangelist since it came out I know how this goes.

Give it a few more years and we will have more friends in the family.

Thanks a lot, Nutanix for this opportunity to be part of such a special community.

Dave

Here is a snip from the welcome letter I received back in January.

Hello Dave,

Congratulations on receiving the NTC designation for 2017 and I am super excited about the upcoming year.

The vCommunity is truly incredible, and I’m looking forward to all the cool and amazing things we can do together.

It’s my hope that we can develop a group of people that are excited about sharing, learning and working together, and with your help, we can make that happen.

Here are some next steps;

  • We will be sending out an NDA shortly (in January), once we have that out of the way, we can begin sharing beta software and getting you folks into programs and connect you to people that will help develop your technology leadership.
  • I’ll be adding you to our internal slack channel, so look for that invite. Sometimes they end up in spam so if you don’t get one let me know.
  • We have a Nutanix Technology Champion Disrupt Newsletter – I will add all of you too. It comes out every Friday (.. sometimes Saturday) it has links to material you may have missed about Nutanix, links to what NTC bloggers are writing about and some general interest stories.
  • I’ve attached the NTC badge for 2017; you can use on Linkedin, business cards, social media, blog, etc.
  • I plan on having a welcome webinar in January. We will have one webinar a month from different technical folks from the organization, and if there are any people, you would like to hear from let me know.

Don’t be shy about reaching out to me, we are all part of the vCommunity and let’s work together to make 2017 an awesome year.
